2026 Practice Policies

Scheduling & Cancelations:

  • In order to book your appointment, a credit card must be on file. You do not need to use this card for payment, nor do you need to pre-pay for your service.

  • Please provide 24 hours notice before cancelling your appointment. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in a fee equal to half of your scheduled service charged to the card on file. You will be notified before your card is charged.

  • Sessions begin and end at scheduled times. If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time. These shortened appointments will be full price.

  • Three cancellations during prime scheduling times will result in an inability to book appointments for those times.

  • If you are feeling unwell, have a fever or any contagious condition, please reschedule.

Preparing for Your Session:

  • Clients must complete a new client intake form and keep me abreast of any health changes. This information is kept secure and confidential and is vital to receiving the best and safest care.

  • Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted forms of payment include: Credit card, Cash, Gift Card to The Eighth House Wellness.

  • Clients who arrive under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not receive service. Being present is important for the healing experience.

  • For most services, you will undress to your comfort level and will be properly draped under a sheet and blanket. You do not need to remove your underwear for any treatment.

  • For services where you are fully clothed, wear comfortable clothing.

  • When possible, please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne to your treatment. Strong scents are a trigger for migraine and your session could be cut short.

  • You will have a choice of fragrance free lotion/oil or aromatherapeutic essential oils. Please let me know if you are sensitive to scent, so the room is best set up for your healing experience.

  • Please shower the day of your treatment, and If coming from a workout, please shower before arriving at the studio.

Zero Tolerance:

  • The Eighth House Wellness has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to the inappropriate client behavior, including, but not limited to the following:

    • Inappropriate touching or grabbing

    • Sexual comments, innuendo, propositioning, or harassment of any kind

    • Intentionally exposing yourself to the therapist

    • Verbal abuse or threats

    • Hate speech

  • Should any of the above offenses occur, your session will immediately come to a halt and you will be charged for the full amount of your service. Should the offense warrant police involvement, they will be called.

What You Can Expect from Me:

  • Appointments will start and end on time. If I am running late, I will notify you as soon as I can and will discount the appointment accordingly.

  • Should I need to reschedule your appointment, I will provide 24 hours notice. In case of illness or emergency, should I have to cancel, I will reschedule you at a discounted rate of 50% for your inconvenience.

  • The space will be clean and sanitized with fresh linens for your appointment.

  • I will perform your service with competency and professionalism.

  • I will honor your wishes for sound and scents for your session.

  • I will always check in with you to ensure you feel comfortable and secure in your treatment.

  • Your records will be kept secure and your information will be kept confidential.

  • It will always be my goal to meet you where you are and honor your energy.
